20 Feb, Kathmandu : The Literary Association Nepal (LAN) held an interaction in the Capital on Monday.
The event saw participation of Israeli ambassador to Nepal Benny Omer and writers and novelists from Nepal and other foreign countries.
On the occasion, Nepali writers and researchers exchanged their experiences with the participants.
Addressing the programme, guest speakers novelist Dr Dorit Silverman, and writer Ms Smandar Shir talked about synchronicity of Hebrew and literary trend in Israel.
Israeli ambassador Omer said that exchanging view and idea about literature and research would help strengthen cultural ties between Israel and Nepal.
He also assured of Israel’s initiatives for holding other such programmes of cultural significance in the future.
