Jan 23 (RSS), Bhojpur: Raj Kumar Karki,35, a resident of Chyangre in Pauwadung rural municipality has been sent to jail for eight years after being found guilty of rape.
The District Court, Bhojpur also imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on Karki for raping a 37-year-old woman. Karki had been arrested following a complaint by the survivor. The decision was handed down by district judge Harish Chandra Ingnam.
The heinous act was committed on September 11, 2018.
