12 April, Chitwan : The Chitwan police have arrested a man charged with raping his 15-year-old daughter from Nuwakot district. The 39-year-old suspect of Khairahani municipality, who had been on the run following the crime, was hiding in the house of his relative in Nuwakot, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Durga Raj Regmi. A team from the District Police Office acting on a complaint lodged by the rape survivor with the Area Police Office, Khairahani raided the house of his relative and made the arrest, he said. The man raped her from time to time, the rape survivor said in the complaint. The arrestee has been brought to Chitwan and investigations are on, said Regmi.
