30 April, Kathmandu : Police have arrested a man in possession of brown heroin from Nagdhunga checkpoint, the west gateway to the Kathmandu Valley.

Bharat Bhandari, 25, of Tikapur, Kailali was held today with the narcotic substance by a security squad from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Nagdhunga in course of checking of a passenger bus he travelling in at the time.

According to Metropolitan Police Circle Thankot chief Kumar Bikram Thapa, the squad found a black bag containing 13.88 grams of the banned substance from under his seat. He is under investigation.
