12 Nov, Talottama (Rupendehi) – The Financial Awareness National Campaign commenced on Friday from Rudrapur of Rupendehi.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor, Dr Chiranjibi Nepal, inaugurated the campaign organized by Media International.
Nepal shared his belief that the financial awareness campaign would contribute towards providing access to the members of the general public to bank and financial institutes (BFIs).
Nepal Bankers’ Association Vice Chairman and Mega Bank Chief Executive Officer, Anil Shah, termed BFIs as ‘the heart of economy’ while arguing that the country could prosper only if people from the cities to the villages can be connected through banking transaction.
NRB Bhairahawa Branch Director, Revati Prasad Nepal, urged the public to save money in the banks and start enterprises by taking loan from the banks. RSS
