Organized by the Pokhara Film Society, the three-day event will see screening of a total of 52 films and documentaries on the theme of mountains, from 22 countries in the City Hall.
The films will be shown in various locations such as Ram Bazar, Ram Mandir and Barahi Chowk in the city in the evening, according to Society’s Chair Ghanashyam Lamichhane.
Besides Pokhara, the films will be shown in Manang, Mustang, Ghale Gaun and Ghandruk with an objective to promote mountainous and hilly culture, traditions and environmental and bio-diversity conservation efforts in the mountainous areas. RSS
