Jan 16,Kathmandu : The wedding ceremony of the younger daughter of President Bidya Devi Bhandari and popular Communist leader the late Madan Kumar Bhandari, Dr Nisha Kusum Bhandari, was solemnized at the Shital Niwas Monday.

The President’s daughter tied the knot with Abhishek Yadav, the eldest son of Engineer Munilal Yadav and lawmaker Kiran Yadav.

The ceremony was organised in the presence of President Bhandari.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Chief Justice Sushila Karki, former Prime Ministers, former Chair of the Council of Ministers, incumbent lawmakers, Rastrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire and diplomats attended the wedding ceremony of the youngest daughter of the head-of-the-state, according to President’s personal deputy-secretary Deepa Sharma.

Former king Gyanendra Shah was also among the guests invited to the wedding ceremony
