 16 Jan, Kathmandu: Rector at the Tribhuvan University, Dr Sudha Tripathi has shared that the Free Students Union election schedule will be released within three days.

While receiving the memorandum, submitted by the All Nepal National Free Students Union today, Tripathi urged the students not to suspect on holding elections and added that the environment was creating for the same.  The FSU election date has been fixed for February 25.

The union has submitted memo to the Rector and Registrar at the university in this connection.

The union has urged the TU to manage electronic voting machine and to make campus chiefs alert in this regard.

The TU for the first time has managed age bar of 28-year to the candidates adopting the mixed election system.

The election has not been held regularly since 2065 BS although it should be held every two years.
