13 March, Kathmandu-The Desbhakta Jana Ganatantrik Morcha Nepal has stressed the need of elections in tune with the federal set up ensured by the constitution.
Issuing a press release today, Morcha Chairman CP Gajurel stated that the decision of holding local polls before finalizing the delineation of provinces would pose a threat to federalism.
The incidents like killing a Nepali youth by Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) of India on minor dispute in Kanchanpur and death of five persons in police firing in Rajbiraj have exposed the existing situation of national sovereignty and democracy, states the press release.
