12 April Kathmandu : Preparation is underway to set up additional 18 seismological centres in Nepal.
The centres are to be established with the assistance of different countries following the 25 April 2015 earthquake that killed several lives and devastated properties.
Seismologist at National Seismological Centre Bharat Prasad Koirala shared that the country now has 21 seismological centres and 18 others are to be set up.
“Chinese government has pledged to set up 10 seismological centres, Rhymes Company of Thailand 4 and Japan government 8 by 2018”, he informed.
