18, april Kanchanpur- Meena BK, 35, of Hasuliya of Kailali who was severely injured when a motorcycle she was pillion riding on was hit by a bus at Shuklafanta Municipality-5 in Kanchanpur along the East-West Highway earlier today died on the way to the Mahakali Zonal Hospital.
Her husband Basanta BK, 37, who was riding the motorcycle (Se 1 Pa 4555) at the time died on the spot.
A bus (Na 3 Kha 3955) of Sudurpaschim Travels coming to Kailali carrying pilgrims from the Purnagiri, Uttarakhanda, India hit the motorcycle. Though the police have impounded the bus, the driver is on the run, Area Police Office, Jhalari, Kanchanpur said.
