13 June, Dadeldhura- The Bhim Datta Multiple Campus in Dadeldhura has remained closed for the past one month even after the announcement of the exam schedule for BBS 2nd Year.
The exams starting from July 9 for students enrolled in the 2nd year has been made public, but the campus’ management remains apathetic. The campus has claimed that it is not able to run classes due to lack of necessary infrastructure.
The campus’ management committee had been running classes within the premises of the Mahendra Model Secondary School since the past eight years. The school has now refused to allow the campus to run classes in its infrastructure.
The students studying in BBS 1st, 2nd and 3rd year are now forced to stay home. At a time when other campuses are preparing for the exams, Bhim Datta has remained shut. Its new building is currently under construction at the east side of the bus park.
Teacher Prakash Chataut blamed the management committee and campus chief of not showing any interest in resuming the classes. He added that students have repeatedly asked him about the classes.
