June 20, Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has sought action against, what it has alleged, the murderers of its candidate for ward chair in Bhotkhola rural municipality in Sankhuwasabha.
Party candidate for the post of chair of ward no. 2 in the municipality Chinang Bhote was beaten to death as he was on the way to file his nominations, says a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the party Pampha Bhusal. The party has also accused the UML cadres of being involved in the murder of Bhote.
Calling for stringent action against those involved in the murder and compensation to the family, spokesperson Bhusal has drawn the attention of the sides concerned in ensuring full security of the candidates and voters in the ongoing election process. RSS
