 Oct 20 (RSS),Kathmandu: Finance Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has praised the contributions made by Shantaraj Subedi in the capacity of Finance Secretary to advance the country’s economy.

At a programme organized on the farewell of Subedi in the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, Minister Karki suggested the officials of the Ministry to follow the roles of Subedi during their performance.

On the occasion, Subedi cautioned that Nepal could again be blacklisted for money laundering if we don’t take effective measures immediately.

He said that the country needs more than Rs 17 billion for infrastructure development and for this revenue collection should be upped through systematic management of revenue administration.

Likewise, Revenue Secretary Shishir Kumar Dhungana and Acting Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Chinta Mani Siwakoti praised the crucial roles played by Subedi for the country’s economy and development.
