25 Oct, Beni (Myagdi) : As many as 35 persons received service from a two-day artificial limb camp in Myagdi district headquarters, Beni.
Service recipients from Myagdi, Baglung and Parbat districts gained benefits from the camp organized to bring solution to the problems being faced by those losing limbs in road accidents or due to particular disease.
In the free camp organized by Myagdi Overseas Nepali Association (MONA) UK, Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), UK and Beni Hospital on Monday and Tuesday, service recipients ranging from child to senior citizens obtained artificial limb related service, according to Clinical Chief of Beni Hospital Dr Dhiren Malla.
A five-member team comprising orthopedics, physiotherapist and prosthetic had provided service to the amputees on use of artificial limbs.
