Left alliance election manifesto to be released on Tuesday

7  Nov, Kathmandu : The election manifesto jointly prepared by the left alliance will be made public amid a programme in the capital on Tuesday. The CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) including other fringe left parties have forged an alliance in view of the November 26 and December 7 elections.

The election manifesto will be released jointly by UML chair KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Centre chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the presence of senior leaders of both parties at a function to be held at the Royal Banquet at Tinkune in the capital.
It is stated that the manifesto has incorporated various popular programmes including social security, developmental projects, programmes related to economic growth, increasing domestic production, strengthening nationality, lessening in import of goods, and preparing grounds for socialism among others.
