10 Nov, Gulmi : The Chhordhara Bange lift water supply project is to be constructed at Paudi Amrai of Gulmi district under the West Nepal Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Plan.
The project will be completed within one year and water from a spring source 392 metres below would be lifted up to the settlement. The estimated total cost of the project is Rs 13 million 503 thousand 333. The government of Nepal and Finland will each meet 36 per cent of the total cost, the Musikot Municipality 10 per cent, the locals will contribute voluntary labour equivalent to 17 per cent and one per cent would be met jointly.
A population of 887 belonging to 169 households as well as the public schools, health posts, police stations and ward offices would be directly benefited from the project.
