19 Nov, , Syangja : As many as 383 people were provided free kidney check up services at a health camp organized at the Eladi Health Post at Waling -4 in Syangja district on Saturday.
Of the 383 people who underwent kidney examination, most were diagnosed suffering from hypertension and diabetes, and were advised to pay special attention to their food habits, according to Santosh Gurung, a renal disease specialist who rendered free services at the health camp. He said no complex problems related to kidney were found during the check up.
The free kidney examination camp was organized by the Eladi Health Post with the coordination of Aandhikhola Tamu Society, Kathmandu and the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of the Himalayan Gorkha, Kathmandu.
The Human Organ Transplant Centre, Bhaktapur and the Aarogya Foundation Pulchowk Lalitpur provided the technical support.
