Dang, Nov 28 (RSS): A bomb was exploded targeting the Nepali Congress’ election programme in Tulsipur some while ago.
Seven people were injured in the incident. The injured ones were- temporary police person Binod Chaudhary and locals Dev Kumari BC, Joni BC, Nep Bahadur Khatri, Himlal Ramjali, Bomraj Sunar and Narapati Budha. Of the injured, temporary police person Chaudhary is in critical condition.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sudhir Jung Shahi has informed that the injured were sent to Nepalgunj for further treatment.
According to him, the bomb exploded soon after the NC President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala, among other central leaders reached the programme venue.
The leaders now have moved towards district headquarters, Ghorahai to address another programme.
