15 Jan, Beni, Myagdi  : Gopal Ramdam of Purandi, Beni Municipality-5, has donated one ropani three anas of land plot worth over Rs 1.5 million to a local school.
Ramdam, who is currently living at Buddhachowk, Bhairahawa in Siddharthanagar Municipality-8 with his family, donated the land to the Saraswati Basic School at Purandi in memory of his deceased parents.
He transferred the ownership of the land plot to the school at the District Land Revenue Office, Myagdi on Sunday. The school honoured Ramdam for his generosity. The school has 50 students.
