25 Feb, Kathmandu  : Police has taken three people under control after a woman was found dead in a hotel at local Sundhara on Saturday morning.
Those arrested are Bishal Khadka of Sindhuli and his two friends Bipin Mainali and Asab Sewa. Khadka is said to be the lover of the deceased Sharmila Raut.
Among the three men who reached the hotel at 3 am in an inebriated state, Khadka had slept in the same room with Raut while Mainali and Sewa had slept in a room on the third floor at the same hotel.
Khadka has told police that he found Raut hanging from the ceiling fan when he woke up in the morning. However, the woman’s relatives suspect that Raut was murdered.
Tekunanta Limbu, Deputy Superintendent at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Janasewa said that the three men have been arrested for investigation into the incident while the woman’s body has been taken to the hospital for post-mortem examination.
