16 Dec, Kathmandu-Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakashman Singh has urged the leaders of the left alliance not to make unnecessary comments on the ordinance on formation of the National Assembly.
Singh, the newly-elected Member of Parliament from Kathmandu-1, said that the government would forward its steps on constitution of National Assembly as per the provision mentioned in the Constitution of Nepal.
“The NC is not interested to remain in power any longer. We will quit the government once all issues are settled,” Singh said at a programme in the capital city today.
He also stated that the NC would remain as a responsible opposition from the province level to the federal level.
Arguing that the NC-led government conducted the polls for the implementation of the constitution, Singh added that the NC would play crucial roles for nation’s economic development.
