8 May, Bhadrapur – A statue of Mahaguru Falgunanda Lingden, a national luminary of Nepal, was unveiled at Khudunabari of Jhapa. Kirant religious preacher Atmananda Lingden and Guruama Pabitr Hangma Lingden jointly unveiled the statute amidst a programme on Tuesday. The statue was erected at Khudunabari Chowk in between Arjundhara municipality ward 2 and 3 at the the cost of Rs 800,000. Mahendra Angdambe, chairperson of Statue Construction Users Committee, shared the statute is 7.5 feet high and 6 feet wide.
