24 Mar. A child in Iran slipped into a coma after drinking alcohol and lost his sight after being given alcohol as a supposed protective measure against coronavirus.
Rumours have been circulating online about potential cures against the virus, alcohol being one of them amid the coronavirus scare.
According to Al Arabiya report, the child was given alcohol by his family. The family reportedly assumed that alcohol is a protection against Covid-19.
