15 June, Kathmandu : A total of 258 Nepalese living in Bangladesh have returned home on Sunday.
The National flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation made a chartered flight to bring Nepalis from Bangladesh. According to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) General Manager Devendra KC, the NAC aircraft landed at Tribhuvan International Airport carrying these passengers.
Those rescued citizens will reach their homes only after completing their quarantine stay and health checkups in Kathmandu.
Similarly, the NAC aircraft will fly for the Maldives on Monday to bring Nepalese back home.
Government is initiating to bring Nepali migrant workers back home from different countries in the chartered flights. (RSS)
