2  Feb,Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) central committee member Sujata Koirala has argued that the country would be safe guarded by formulation and implementation of stern laws against cyber crime and terrorism in the wake of rampant cases of cyber crimes and widespread terrorist attacks across the world.
Speaking at a one-day awareness programme organized by GP Koirala Foundation here today, leader Koirala further said that the impunity could be ended by enforcing strong laws thereby leading the country towards prosperity.
Cyber crime expert and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pashupati Ray imparted information on various cases of cyber crimes registered in the crime branch and urged the cyber users to be aware of the criminals.
DSP Raya also urged the parents to keep their children under their scrutiny to protect them from criminals and predators.
In attendance at the event were the students from various colleges including Kamad College. RSS
