6 Feb,Kathmandu : Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has reaffirmed the party commitment for the empowerment of women.
Leader Sigh said so inaugurating a two-day women leadership development training organized by Skilled Human Resources Development Center in support of NC parliamentarian Rajya Laxmi Shrestha here today.
Singh, also former Deputy Prime Minister, urged women folks to participate in the upcoming local poll, both as a voter and candidate.
He spoke of the need to provide leadership opportunity to the women force recognizing their caliber and capabilities.
Parliamentarian Shrestha shared that the training was conducted by the fund released from the Parliamentarian Development Fund. She pledged her utmost support for advancing the gender cause.
Centre’s President Bishnu Devi Pudasaini underscored cooperation between the male and female members for helping women folks advance in leadership roles. RSS
