15 Dec, Kathmandu : The government has made provision requiring the four-wheel vehicles registered from the Bagmati Zone to install the embossed number plate by the Mid-July 2018.
The Department of Transport Management has brought the provision that the four-wheel vehicles belonging to the government and the public corporations and registered in the Bagmati Zone should install the embossed number plates within April 13, 2018 and the rest of the four-wheel vehicles within Mid-July 2018.
Department spokesperson Dr Tokraj Pandey said that the four-wheelers registered from Bagmati Zone should comply with the Department’s requirements within the given deadline.
Pandey also said that the vehicle owners have to clear all the remaining vehicle tax before applying for the embossed number plate.
The Council of Ministers has taken a decision to issue the new embossed number plates on the basis of provinces as against the provision of doing so on the basis of zones which was in practice before this, according to spokesperson Pandey.
