22 Oct, Bhaktapur- Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has urged youths, willing to go abroad, to dreams for the country.
Inaugurating the 12th national conference of Student Quality Cycle based on school curriculum organised by Quest Nepal on Friday, Vice-President Pun said that developing the thought to make the country prosperous by utilizing the possibilities of the county was the need of hour.
He however said the compulsion for educated youths to go different countries for employment for lack of employment in the country was misfortune.
Stating that the country has been moving ahead to build a prosperous nation along with economic and social transformations, Vice-President Pun said that only skilled, capable and disciplined human resources could build civilized and prosperous society.
Similarly, Prof Dinesh Prasad Chapagain said that the SQC has a quality to make children good and clever.
Chairman of Quest Nepal, Nirajan Adhikari, expressed the view that quality of education could be increased if SQC is implemented across the country, saying a total of 50,000 students are provided education through this medium.
A total of 1,100 people including 700 students from Jhapa, Janakpur, Bara, Rupandehi, Palpa, Dhangadhi, Surkhet, Chitwan, Kavre, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur, 200 observers, teachers and educationists have been participating in the conference, said senior chairman of the Quest Nepal, Raj Kumar Maharjan.
