June 23 , Kathmandu- Nepal Academy has planned a publication of a book named ‘Nepal Darshan’ on glorious cultural identities of each Seven States.

The cultural issues will be identified with thorough study along with field visits, data collection and analyses for the publication in both Nepali and English languages.

Academy Chancellor Ganga Prasad Upreti informed that the publications would be useful to make Nepal known to the international community with the publicity of its cultural heritages and glory. As it is an ambitious plan of the Academy, government was urged to allocate budget to this undertaking by regarding it as a national pride project, he added.

According to him, Prime Minister and Chief Patron of the Academy, KP Sharma Oli, has committed to providing assistance to this endeavour.

Meanwhile, Academy said second China-South Asia Literary Conference to be held from October 15 to 20 later this year would be fruitful to expand Nepal’s academic relations in the international arena
