10 Apr. The worldwide death toll from the novel coronavirus passed 95,000, according to a tally compiled by worldometer.
More than half of the 95,722 deaths were recorded in hard-hit Italy, Spain and the United States.
Italy has recorded the most deaths with 18,279, followed by United States with 16,691, the Spain with 15,447 and France with 12,210.
There have now been 1,603,719 officially confirmed infections.
