26 Oct,Gaighat (Udayapur): Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak today said the government was nearing the final stages of constitution amendment and implementation.
The Minister made the remark at a press conference held at the Nepali Congress party office at Gaighat, the district headquarters of Udayapur, by Press Union.
Minister Lekhak said the incumbent government’s chief agenda and goal is to amend the constitution and address the appropriate demands. He added that the process is now reaching the final stage of an agreement point following repeated discussions among the big parties as Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (UML) and among the fringe parties.
The Minister, who is also NC central member, said his party would take the decision on the subject of impeachment of the suspended chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) after completing due process.
Minister Lekhak on Tuesday inaugurated the Baruwa bridge over the Baruwa river at Gaighat under the alternate highway connecting Kathmandu with Chatara, Gaighat, Sindhuli and Hetauda. RSS
