5 Nov, Kathmandu- CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has stated that it was unacceptable if anyone exercises influence and exerts pressure in an attempt to resolve the political issues of Nepal.
Leader Nepal said so while unveiling a storybook ‘Ghar binako Ghar’ (House without House) penned by litterateur Ram Binaya and published by Sajha Publications.
Stating that the Nepalis want to live with dignity and freedom, the former Prime Minister said that they cannot stand external pressure and interferences and meddling.
He also pressed for economic revolution for the country in the wake of promulgation of a new constitution.
On the occasion, Chancellor of the Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Uprety reaffirmed that the Academy was effortful to save Sajha Publications. He expressed his belief that the government would provide grant to it.
Similarly, former Chancellor of the Nepal Academy Bairagi Kaila urged the political leadership and government for the preservation of Nepal literature.
Sajha Publications Chairperson Dolindra Prasad Sharma mentioned that the Publications could be saved from auction if the government provides it Rs 400 million as pledged by the Prime Minister. RSS
