24 Nov,Urlabari, (Morang):Nepali migrant workers in Israel have provided monetary aid of Rs 110,000 to a child suffering from cancer of Jirikhimti of Patharisanischare-8, Morang.
On the initiative of Madhu Kangwa of Patharisanischare-8, Nepali migrant workers in Israel collected the fund meant for assisting in the treatment of 12-year-old cancer patient Utsab Dhimal. The fund has been handed to Chhatra Bahadur Dhimal, father of the ill child.
The Rastriya Samachar Samiti ( RSS) earlier disseminated the news about the inability of Dhimal’s family to afford to pay for the treatment of the ailing child and this news was published by other media as well with priority. The news has prompted the locals to launch a fundraising campaign to assist in the treatment of Utsav. So far Rs 449,273 has been collected, according to Campaign coordinator Sajan Dhimal.
Utsav, a sixth grader at local Everest Secondary School, has been diagnosed with brain cancer and he is currently under medical treatment at Mumbai-based Tata Memorial Hospital. RSS
