18 Jan, Khotang : Four entrepreneurs, who have become self-reliant through their continuous involvement in small and cottage industry since long back, were feted in Khotang district.
The Cottage and Small Industry Development Committee district section on Wednesday honoured them in recognition of their significant contributions to the promotion of cottage and small industry.
Among the felicitated are Haikamansi Rai of Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality and Shiva Kumar Dhakal of Sakela rural municipality. They were honoured with shawls, letter of appreciation and cash Rs 3,000 each.
Likewise, Devi Kumar Golal of Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality and Ddiktel Handicraft Industry proprietor Bhim Biswakarma were also felicitated.
It may be noted that all the felicitated entrepreneurs had started their own enterprises in a systematic manner after receiving technical knowledge and skills from the Cottage and Small Industry Development Committee, shard Committee’s Industry Officer Loknath Khatiwada.
