17 Oct,Kakadvitta: The legendary ‘Bhagavad Geeta’ has been translated into the Rajbanshi Language. Pawan Rajbanshi of Kankai-9 of Jhapa district translated the scripture into Rajbanshi language.
Rajbanshi is the first academician from the Rajbanshi community. He is an art teacher and has been contributing arts and cartoons for different local newspapers.
Sharing his pleasure of translating the Geeta, Rajbashi said he was once inspired to translate famous lyric poem ‘Munamadan’ into the Rajbanshi language but finally translated the Geeta.
The famous Hindu scripture ‘Geeta’ is one section of the 18-chapter-long ancient Hindu epic “Mahabharata,” which is recognized as the longest epic poem ever written in the world literature.
The Geeta is a conversation between a warrior named Arjuna and the Hindu God Krishna.
The famous scripture ‘Bhagavad Gita’ has been translated and published in dozens of different languages across the globe.
The newly translated version of ‘Geeta’ now is available in Nepal, India and Bangladesh, pleasing the Rajbanshi community in these countries. RSS
