12 Nov, Pokhara- The 3rd edition of the Mountain Festival will be held in the third week of November at the International Mountain Museum, Pokhara coinciding with the International Mountain Day.
It is being held with an objective to conserve the mountainous environment, promote sporting culture and support the local villagers living in the alpine areas to earn a living.
The festival to take place on November 25 and 26 will host a range of events including rock climbing competition, folk music and exhibition of mountain documentaries, Festival Coordinator, Kushal Gurung said. There will be at least 40 stalls providing various knowledge, skills and information. RSS
