The team led by Committee coordinator Dr Suresh Upreti has demanded that the government appointment of Dr Agrawal be replaced with the new appointment through a due process.
The Committee has padlocked the Office of IoM Dean for the past 16 days, following the appointment of Dr Agrawal to the post made to convince Dr Govinda KC to end his hunger strike. The appointment of the IoM Dean on the basis of seniority was one of the demands of Dr KC.
In response, Minister Poudel urged the agitating group to seek a solution to problem through talks. He pledged to take up the matter for discussions in the TU Senate scheduled for December 29. RSS
