29 June, Ratnanagar (Chitwan)- The vehicular movement on Narayangadh-Muglin road stretch has resumed since 5.00am this morning after removing debris of landslides at Ichhakamana rural municipality-6, Kalikhola in Chitwan.
According to Chitwan Police DSP Deepak Shrestha, the road traffic was made smooth since early this morning by clearing the landslides that occurred in different places of Kalikhola at 10.00pm last night.
The road traffic here was disrupted for seven hours due to landslide on Wednesday. Kalikhola, considered to be a high landslide risk zone, has seen over 10 incidents of landslides in less than past 15 days.
The landslide that occurred at Kalikhola on 23 June had buried a police jeep and a truck, leaving three police personnel dead and one disappeared.
