19 Oct,Kathmandu-Sujan Sapkota, who has been running a Nepali Restaurant in United Arab Emirates (UAE) is now facing mental unrest due to a minor mistake of a Nepali media while disseminating news.
At a face-to-face programme organized by the Reporters Club on Tuesday, restaurant operator Sapkota admitted that a quarrel was ensued between him and his worker at the restaurant for latter’s insensitivity at the workplace.
He expressed outrage to the worker who without informing anyone went outside after keeping the gas burn in the kitchen and also admitted that he had bounced on the worker for his sheer negligence.
On the occasion, he accused a Nepali media house of being indulged in assassinating his character by making public the video footage of the incident.
After listening to the detail accounts of the incident, Reporters Club Nepal Chair Rishi Dhamala and social activist Deepak Khand noted that such incident should not be taken seriously. RSS
