27 Feb, Kathmandu. A helicopter of Air Dynasty carrying Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari among other officials is suspected to have crashed at Daredhunga of Taplejung district today.

Home Ministry spokesman Ram Krishna Subedi said it is assumed the chopper has met with an accident at Daredhunga of Taplejung.

Another helicopter of Air Dynasty has left Kathmandu for Taplejung for rescue after the news of the crash was received.

Security personnel along with the Chief District Officer of Taplejung have left towards the crash site. Additional information regarding the chopper accident is still awaited.

A team of six persons including Minister Adhikari and the helicopter pilot had flown towards Chuhandanda of Tehrathum for an inspection of the area where a feasibility study had been conducted before for construction of airport.
