May 26, Dhangadhi –   The second meeting of the State Coordination Council of Sudur Paschim state has commenced here this morning. Chief Minister of the state government Trilochan Bhatta has been chairing the meeting.

The state government ministers, the chief secretary, the secretaries of various ministries, the chief attorney, chiefs and deputy chiefs of all the 88 local levels of the state, the chiefs and deputy chiefs of the district coordination committee of nine districts, among other officials are participating in the meeting.

The meeting will deliberate on the coordination role of the district coordination committees, the tax, tariffs, service charge that the local levels are to impose while delivering services and the effectiveness of the local judicial committee. It is also stated that the meeting will collect suggestions regarding the topics related to the budget programmes for the next fiscal year 2076/77. Minister for Economic Affairs and Law Prakash Bahadur Shah believed that the conclusions to be drawn from the meeting will help take the Sudur Paschim state towards prosperity.

He added that the meeting would also be fruitful in bringing harmony in policies and forging strategic partnership in the budget allocation. The Council’s first meeting was held in September last year.
