14 Feb,Dhulikhel: Two-day basic journalism training for women journalists kicked off here from today.
The training organised by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kavre chapter is supported by the District Development Committee, Kavrepalanchowk.
Commissioner of National Information Commission, Kiran Pokhrel, inaugurated the event. On the occasion, he said there was high chance of wide dissemination of information it was provided to women journalists. Expressing his hope that the training would be successful in meeting its goal, he insisted that neglected and backward communities should have more access to information and they should also take initiations to receive information and properly utilise acquired information.
The training is attended by 23 female journalists based in the district, FNJ Kavre vice president and training coordinator Rama Dahal said. RSS
