16 June, Phalebash (Parbat)-Wife of a man serving a jail term on charges of child molestation has died under mysterious circumstances.

Mithu Darji, wife of Khem Bahadur Damai, was found dead at Jaljala rural municipality – 3 of Parbat. She was found dead in her own room on Thursday morning.

The police have taken her body to the District Hospital, Beni for an autopsy. Mithu’s husband was sent to jail on April 27 on charges of molesting girls under the pretext of curing them through traditional shamanistic methods. The District Police Office, Parbat has been investigating into the incident.
