16 Dec, Kathmandu : CPN-UML is ahead with a margin of around 52,000 votes in the ballot count of Proportional Representation (PR) of the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies held on November 26 and December 7.
According to the Election Commission’s Information Management System, CPN-UML has gathered 3,112,747 votes followed by Nepali Congress with 3,060,850 and CPN (Maoist Centre) with 1,273,000. Likewise, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal obtained 459,071 votes and Rastriya Janata Party Nepal secured 447629 votes.
Similarly, Bibeksheel Saajha Party has gathered 219,493 and Rastriya Prajatantra Party got 193,872 votes.
Now the vote count of Sunsari and Sarlahi is underway.
