27 Oct,Dang: Nepali Congress leader and former Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has said that his party would not take any decision right now that influences the parliament inquiry into the motion of impeachment moved against CIAA chief, Lokman Singh Karki.
In a press meet organised by the Press Union, Dang chapter today, leader Mahat said the NC will take official decision on the motion only after the Impeachment Recommendation Committee releases its report.
He further said that NC could not judge the case now as the parliamentary committee was already formed to look into the matter. The party was watching out for a right time to give its official views regarding the impeachment against the CIAA Chief.
Leader Mahat who is also the former Finance Minister stressed on economic prosperity in the country, underling the need of all-party consensus for amending the constitution. RSS
