20 Feb, Kathmandu – The government has decided to recommend fourteen individuals to be appointed the Nepali Ambassador to various countries.
The second meeting today of the Council of Ministers held at Singha Durbar decided to recommend Asha Lama as the ambassador to the UAE, Pratibha Rana to Japan, Yubanath Lamsal to Denmark, Padam Sundas to Bahrain and Lucky Sherpa to Australia, according to Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki.
Likewise, Ramesh Prasad Koirala has been recommended as ambassador to Qatar, Mahendra Singh to Saudi Arabia, Bhim Udas to Myanmar, Biswambhar Pyakurel to Sri Lanka, Sharmila Parajuli to Oman, Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh to South Korea, Chop Lal Bhusal to Bangladesh and Niranjan Thapa to Israel.
Also the government decided to open an Embassy in Spain and recommend Bharat Rayamajhi as the ambassador, Minister Karki said.
