31 Jan, Kathmandu – Parliamentarians of ruling and opposition parties have been blaming each other after the parliament session today.
After the postponement of today’s meeting of the House of the Representatives, parliamentarians of the ruling parties said that the opposition parties have been obstructing the House by putting the parliamentary process in difficulty while lawmakers of opposition parties blamed the government for becoming anarchist in the name of majority.
Whip of Parliamentary Party of the Nepal Communist Party, Dev Gurung, accused that the opposition party has been moving ahead by rejecting the parliamentary system. Saying there would never be practice of rejecting majority in democracy, Gurung said that the ruling parties have been obstructing the House by neglecting it.
Gagan Kumar Thapa of the Nepali Congress said that the trend of rejecting the existence of opposition parties is being influenced in the House. He also blamed the government of moving ahead with arrogance without taking any initiative to address demands of Dr Govinda KC.
Bal Krishna Khand of NC said that it was the responsibility of opposition party to bringing the wrong doings of the government into public.
