18  Jan,Dang: Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki has said that the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) has played a vital role to disseminate trustworthy and authentic news.
Addressing the foundation stone laying programme for the construction of the building of the RSS, Zonal office today, Minister Karki said that the RSS should forge a way to be independent along with its multi dimensional works.
Minister Karki urged all media from the centre to local levels to disseminate varieties of news. In another note, Minister Karki shared that the village units will be empowered in new federal setup and they will have the authority to register, renew and scrap the media.
On the occasion, Minister Karki feted social workers Tikaram Regmi, Rishiraj Kandel, Bamdev Upadhyay, Khumananda Adhikari and former RSS correspondent Ram Prasad Poudel for their contribution to protect the RSS land properties.
Similarly, Lawmaker Anita Devkota stressed on disseminating reliable and accurate news.
Likewise, RSS chair Kulchandra Wagle shared that the RSS has been relentlessly disseminating truth-based and reliable news from across the country. RSS
