22 june, Panchthar – Deputy Leader of the CPN (UML) Parliamentary Party, Subas Nembang, has said that the constitution could be amended only after holding three-tier of elections.
Leader Nembang said so while talking to media persons at Phidim of Panchthar today. He said that there was no meaning of postponing the election by the government as the Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal did not participate in election scheduled for June 28 even after postponing the election date of province no 2.
He said that the CPN (UML) would address the dissatisfaction of Madhes and indigenous nationalities gradually.
The CPN (UML) leader said that his party become the first party in the first-round of local level election and claimed that it would be again first party in the second round of the election and in Madhes.
Objecting to the activities carried out by the government violating the Election Code of Conduct, leader Nembang demanded immediate stop of such activities. RSS
